The Angel & Demon

The demon in me
Takes delight in myself
In a world of black and white
With recurring spasms of anger and hurt

Like a volcano full of ash and soot
Never clear, always steer
An infectious disease
It harms, it torments

The angel in me
Delighted by the smiles of others
In a world of roses and rainbow
Basking in lasting joy of love and patience

In a mind calm and unpenetrating
Taking joy in my dreams
Feeling the heartbeat of every being
The child within their soul

A land of righteousness
A paradise of bliss
The haven of pandora
The pulse of the light

Right here, in the corner of my mind

Draft it, carve it, create it,
You have it.
Be it.
See it.
Light it.
Show it.
